ABOUT Rese Emanuel
Rese grew up on a farm riding horses making flying foxes, climbing trees and making obstacle courses in the back yard.
She-played for New South Wales in TBall at the age of only ten! After moving to New Zealand at the age of twelve, Rese played state softball for Wellington. Then she started water polo and quickly had to choose between the two when selected in the state team for both sports. Choosing water polo, within a year, Rese represented New Zealand schoolgirls. Learning how to snow ski, Rese has continued to ski and board to date.
After moving to Queensland at the age of fifteen, Rese played for Australian schoolgirls that year. She also played as the youngest team member of the Queensland state water polo team at only sixteen years of age.
Rese moved to Sydney after completing Year 12 to pursue a career in veterinary nursing and train with the 2000 Olympic Water polo squad. She continued to ride her horses and took up surfing.
In 1996, Rese moved to Melbourne for work as head vet nurse and dog trainer. She continued water polo with the Victorian state team. In winter it was snow skiing and competing in IRB racing with the surf club. In summer it was down hill mountain biking, wake boarding and jet skiing.
In 2002, Rese went for a skydive and did eight in her first day. Within 3 months I was in an 8 way formation skydiving team which won Victorian state titles in 2003 and won Australian national titles in 2004. During this she time took a sales job to pay for her sports $$$$$.
In 2007, Rese took the biggest job of her life… motherhood. Three kids in two and a half years. Yep everything in her life has to be extreme!! She moved to Lennox Heads to raise the kids and to be close to the surf. Continuing to surf throughout her pregnancies, Rese took up skateboarding to push her big pram around. She started playing water polo again.
All her kids were at primary school so she decided to start working again. Deciding that she needed to do something she would really love that involved animals, kids or sports. She started an active kids’ holiday program called “Resey’s”. For her 40th birthday present to herself …. she was to empty her bucket list before she turns 41! Here is her top 10:

She also gets to teach kids at Stunt Park and watch their faces light up! Best of all …. her kids love Stunt Park too.
